Falon Macek is the proud owner & choreographer of Shooting Stars Dance Academy. Falon is a 2005 HFM Career & Tech Center Graduate as a CNA, she is also a 2006 Graduate of Broadalbin Perth Central School. Falon started dance at the age of 2, at The Creative Dance Studio in Johnstown NY, where she studied Tap, Jazz & Ballet. At the age of 7 she transferred studios and was now studying Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Clogging, Pointe, Lyrical and Acro at The Dance Company in Perth NY. Falon also studied Gymnastics at Star beam Gymnastics in Amsterdam NY from the age 14-17. Falon started competing at the age of 7 and continued competing until the age of 17. She won several overall high scores, and titles in New York State, New Hampshire, and Florida. Falon started student teaching at the age of 12 and was a full time teacher by the age of 15. At the age of 18 Falon opened up her own Studio in Fonda NY, in the past 9 years her studio grown, teaching several styles of dance, expanding the studio, numerous High Score Awards, Overall Scores, Overall Winners. Falon has been certified as a USA Gymnastics Coach since 2006, and is now a 2015 Certified Cheer and Dance Coach for New York State! Falon enjoys working with students of all ages! She has studied several styles of Dance from many choreographers throughout the years, from Abby Lee Miller, So You Think You Can Dance, Broadway, and several other professional dancers. Macek teaches all ages and several styles of Dance such as  Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Pointe, Clogging, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theater, Acro, Gymnastics and now Cheerleading!
